Darlene Johnson (DJ), joined the Propertyscouts team after relocating from Christchurch in 2013 and is enjoying the upright buildings in Dunedin!

Prior to property management DJ owned and operated a cafe in Christchurch.  She has a very strong background in customer service and staff training.  She has completed the level 4 (senior) property manager qualification.

DJ is the Operations Manager for the Dunedin office.   She is totally focussed on ensuring that all of the Propertyscouts staff provide an outstanding service to our tenants and landlords, and that everyone enjoys the process along the way.

After serving 25 years in the Police force Barry decided it was time for a change. He purchased a retail business and spent time as a team leader at the University Campus Watch Office before finding his niche in Property Management. Barry joins Propertyscouts after 5 years managing predominantly student properties and staying sane throughout it!

Barry’s calm demeanor and ability to solve issues with a WIN/WIN outcome in mind serves him well, he is committed to working hard and doesn’t like leaving a job unfinished.

His years in public service gives him great skills at getting on with all sectors of society, he gets great job satisfaction of being able to exceed peoples expectations.

Outside of work Barry loves a good game of squash, bringing out his competitive side, and enjoying a round of social golf, not to mention spending time with his children and grandchildren which keep him young.

When you are looking for a solid player, Barry is your man!

Bright, smart and bubbly is the first words that come to mind when describing Emma. Emma has finished her degree majoring in Sociology and minoring in Criminology,. Her skills give her a huge advantage when working with people as she has a way with words which gets results.

Financing her way through uni cleaning studios, she soon gained respect from the owners in which she monitored and cleaned the properties for. She has a very practical head, and when it comes to cleaning this girl knows how to get the job done, offering useful advice and tips to help tenants take good care of their home.

Outside of work she loves to get out and enjoy a walk with her partner and oversized dog, and when summer hits you will find her relaxing in the sun on Dunedin's great beaches.

Vincent is the Dunedin Propertyscouts Accounts Manager.  He's the 'money man' of the business and it's fair to say he is very, very particular when it comes to dealing with the company finances.  

Vincent is from Sarawak in Malaysia, and has a business background in the Banking Industry.

He is very organised and has a great eye for detail - making him the ideal person for ensuring accurate record keeping at all times.

Kelly is our Office Administrator . She is kept busy with dealing with tenants, landlords and general rental enquiries whilst assisting the Property Manager's at the same time.

Her previous property management and office administration experience ensures the day to day running of the office is carried out efficiently and smoothly.

When she is not working, Kelly loves spending time with her family and enjoys keeping fit and active.
