Rent payments are collected directly into our trust account on the agreed date, then distributed to you promptly with a clear financial statement. At the start of every tenancy, we collect the bond and complete the bond lodgement as required by law, maintaining detailed records for a fair refund process at the end.

Even with thorough screening, rent arrears can occasionally occur. The key is how quickly and professionally they are handled. If rent is not received by the due date, we contact the tenant immediately. If payment is not made within five days, we issue a formal 14 day notice to remedy. If the notice period expires without resolution, we begin the Tenancy Tribunal application process. We keep you fully informed at every step. For situations where a tenant is not paying rent in NZ, our property managers are experienced in finding practical solutions where possible, such as temporary payment plans, while always protecting the landlord's position.
